You can't "un" delay it, or reverse delay, or whatever the correct term is... yes, I need to ask for that too ;)

TO do what I'm suggesting, just use a simple delay with sync off and set the number of ms to the delay that the ultrapitch introduces, then route all the other tracks through it.

This is all that ADC does - you don't get a high latency plugin working with zero latency - it just delays everything else by the same amount to bring them in line.

Yes absolutely! Complete PDC and Mackie Control support, and I would never look at SX again!

Mixing and compensating plug-ins delay

Post by prztz » Tue Oct 26, 2004 4:56 am

This is very important. I always like to edit my tracks until the last minute of mixing.

So far I had to sequence in Live and mixing in Logic.

Please, automatic delay compensation is a must for Live. Believe me, Ableton.

Bump. Delay compensation would be AWESOME. Being able to use the UAD-1 and Powercore cards would only serve to improve the quality of mixes coming out of Live.

No work arounds wanted.

Its not just PDC that we need we also need ADC so we can use our outboard. If its only PDC thats implemented in the next major update I cant really see how I could continue to use Live exclusively (which I want). I have to much outboard that I want to use.

BUMPO
