The "I'm spending my APC-40 money elsewhere" thread!

Since Akai can't get it together and actually have APC's in shops...
And since they're in my "comapnies who suck" books anyway with their lame ass pricing...
Since I put aside some money (originally for the APC) for pumping up the studio an it wants to be spent...

1: I got a 1920 x 1200 26" monitor (I had a cramped 20" 1680 x 1050 now, resolution's OK but it's all very miniature) 247 Euros

2 & 3: It looks like UA will finally release the EL Fatso plug-in (article about it in their webzine means release is within the month usually) AND a model of the best digital reverb in the world according to engineers like Bruce Swedien: The 1976 legendary EMT 250! ??? Euros

4: Channel strip for recording my singer, right now the pre-amp is a small Behringer mixer into an aging Delta 44 soundcard = fluff!
I think I will get the Mindprint channel strip pre/EQ/compressor/tubesat stage it has built in AD conversion. ??? Euros

5: Monitor stands for my NS-10's.

6: Mini microphone boom stand for the dynamic mic that listens to my Valve Junior Amp which is sweet as sugar by the way. 20 Euro's

7: Guitar stand 10 Euros

8: 1 Terabyte external USB hard disk, finally going to do some backups, weed out the stuff I'll never use from the library, edit some video! 79 Euros

I bought Komplete. My big thing is there really isn't much to the apc without max for live. When that drops, i'll reassess.
