It appears that unlike Live, Largo is limited to use on *one* computer unless you purchase a dongle to transfer the license to another.

I don't see it anywhere. Just a message that says it's on it's way somewhere...

Where are you seeing that it's available?

"Grab your Largo version at your local musicians dealer - before someone else does!"

I took that to mean it is available. Apparently it isn't showing up online yet either. I guess it's on it's way to the dealers. I will change the thread title until i know what is going on.

Have you checked out the blofeld? I just got one and it sounds fkn awesome. It's my first hw waldorf synth so i don't know how it compares to the others but it sounds a lot bigger than it looks. I wasn't even excited about Largo til i started using the blofeld!

In the manual, together with my knowledge of how Syncrosoft works.

^ Wow, for 199 Euro, it better be ridiculously good.

I love it when hardware companies put out softsynths, but I'm often disappointed. This is because the magic sound of these hardware synths is in the actual hardware and the DA converters used in the boxes themselves. For example, I much prefer the TI analog sound to the VSTi in the box sounds.

From the Largo mp3 samples, I'm not all too impressed, honestly. But still, glad to see some hype on Waldorf...glad the company has come back from the dead.

I was really looking forward to Largo, but at that price with no demo and syncrosoft copy protection.....No Way.

I guess they really want people to buy the blofeld

+1.....the lack of a demo is galling. really just bad. guess they only aim to sell to their super hardcore fanbase.
