Yeah cool vid. What a studio! Those are Wilson speakers in the mix room. Those are like $100,000 monitors. IMO the album is good but sonically not any better than the last one. Musically I like the last one better too.

dan deacon has a great live show.

Saw him on the Spiderman of the Rings tour and it was a F-ing blast. So much ass shaking, human tunnels and yummy drinks. Damn I wish I could do it all over. F-ing Crystal Cat... great tune!

Too cool... writing these compositions in Reason, Logic whatever and piping it through a player piano. Gotta get the album.

Well I watched the video on Pitchfork and one of the engineers was describing the process and mentioned that they were translating his stuff from Reason/Logic and trying to get it to all line up correctly when being played through the player piano. Also he mentions using Reason to do some of his older tracks here... http://www.dandeacon.com/music/music.html
