that's just standard.
Most sends in a mixer are going to be reverbs and delays, which take a mono signal and then spatialize it in stereo with different delays or slightly different elements being sent from one speaker to the other.

what lqm said basically, but the sockets do support both balanced and unbalanced leads. The first four channels also have inserts on as well.o0o wrote:thankyou rhythmsickness but if the send is mono why is the advantage of the return being stereo, sorry to sound so clueless?
edit: incidentally I have one of these, so if there is anything specifically about it you want to know, do ask.

The 1202 VLZ is a great mixer. I've had mine for 13 years and it's proven to be a rock-solid performer after lugging and tugging around for gigs. It's still a mainstay of my live performances as everything still works.
The manual is also excellent and is written for both beginners and pros with lots of pictures and expanations of audio terms.
Cheers,
Liz
