Do you have a dual processor machine? There's a known bug both with dual processor windows and osx, SX and rewire. Stuttering is one of the symtoms. Do a search on the cubase.net forums for details

Also, you can try setting your start locator a few bars after 1. (if you are starting at 1) Say, at 3 or 5. This seems to help.

Actually. I'm getting used to it and even starting to like it. A little. I may even feature it in my next song. I tell all my friends it's the latest thing. Isn't it great? Steinburg and the Abletons should both list it as a new 'feature' and charge more for it....

i think this has to do with cubase sx2´s plugin delay compensation and the rewire specs. this hopefully can get fixed with a newer version of the rewire protocoll. not sure though...
but it´s certainly not a live prob as it didn´t happen with sx1...

this hapeens to me and everyone ive talked to, for a while. i just got over it and kept working.if youare used to 8 bar intervals, you could start your song on bar 9 instead of 1.

Ok so i'm not crazy. At least not for thinking i was the only one having issues w/Cubase SX and LIVE rewiring.

I have a PC w/dual 2.8ghz cpus and i am having serious stutter issues
when starting the audio from bar one. Also looping is doing some sort
of glitch on bar 1 even if i start on bar 9 in the arrangement.

There is no help for this u guys are telling me? Damn and i was so
happy i moved from Acid. They REALLY, REALLY, need to fix this.
