Yep the guys have always been a pleasure to deal with. I also think it's really cool how Mr. Henke comes on here and goes into detail on the technical stuff.

Been waiting two and a half weeks for them to come back on a simple issue - still no response even after a follow-up mail!

Yes, with the exception of the period when L7 came out, big props to Abes support.

I asked for an optional UI that would support high-resolution and/or multiple monitors displays. Right now it's a program that's designed to work in one, compact window, but that means you have to do a lot of tab, shift-tab, etc. to get all the options to come up as you use it.

Unfortunately Support just proves again that too often they don't even try. :?

And they said they were on the case?

Dual monitor etc.: Big point on the wishlist, you bet! - but you know the announcement policy:
Ableton would almost never answer a feature request with "we're working on it".

Here's the exact quote from my email:

"We have this on our internal wish list already.. So, we are working on it!
But it is more complicated than it seems to be and will take a while until the work is finished..."

I wrote this email and...
...sorry to disappoint you; my choice of words was not the best.. :(

What i meant was: we are working on every feature wish on our wish list.
Working means: we are either evaluating the pros and cons of a wish, prioritising it or implementing it as a feature into the code.
All of these steps are hard work... -> so yes, somehow we're working on it but the official and dry ableton statement is "it's on the wishlist for future consideration"

best,
dfi
