Yep the guys have always been a pleasure to deal with. I also think it's really cool how Mr. Henke comes on here and goes into detail on the technical stuff.
Been waiting two and a half weeks for them to come back on a simple issue - still no response even after a follow-up mail!leedsquietman wrote:Arturia

I asked for an optional UI that would support high-resolution and/or multiple monitors displays. Right now it's a program that's designed to work in one, compact window, but that means you have to do a lot of tab, shift-tab, etc. to get all the options to come up as you use it.creature wrote:Out of interest, what was the feature you requested?

Get in! People have been asking for this since i joined, at least.
Dual monitor etc.: Big point on the wishlist, you bet! - but you know the announcement policy:
Ableton would almost never answer a feature request with "we're working on it".

Dom

Here's the exact quote from my email:dom wrote:Ableton would almost never answer a feature request with "we're working on it".
"We have this on our internal wish list already.. So, we are working on it!
But it is more complicated than it seems to be and will take a while until the work is finished..."

...sorry to disappoint you; my choice of words was not the best..
What i meant was: we are working on every feature wish on our wish list.
Working means: we are either evaluating the pros and cons of a wish, prioritising it or implementing it as a feature into the code.
All of these steps are hard work... -> so yes, somehow we're working on it but the official and dry ableton statement is "it's on the wishlist for future consideration"
