This looks great, yes

pissed

charging for updates is bullshit

Post by pissed » Sat Jun 05, 2004 12:22 am

I've purchased live 1 and live 3

and now, I don't get a free update to live 4. I have to pay another 119 bucks. That's bullshit. Why isn'tn this a free update for ppl who have been supporting you from the beginning? Is there some radical new design that cost the company millions of dollars?

sincerely dissapointed.

no VSTi?

no VSTi?

They make you pay out the butt for an update and didn't even add VSTi.

lame.

I purchased a Power Macintosh 9600 and a Powermac G4 and didn't get a G5 for free - the world can be soooo cruel.

Software updates are always free, asshole. As you've already purchased the software.

Dave -
You don't HAVE to shell out more $$
If you like the new features you have the choice to buy them, or not. Your V3 will still work perfectly
