This works great! thanks.
I am wondering though, what is the difference between your program and the autohotkey program? Or maybe i can better ask what exactly is your program?
I'm just trying to understand what is going on. It seems your program loads the Mousewheel_live.ahk script and uses that to overrule the mousewheel.
Care to enlighten me?

right, this was a simple autohotkey script. It has now been superceded by a much larger system of keyboard and mouse shortcuts (Vitamin L). See this thread:peez wrote:This works great! thanks.

I wonder if there's a way to do this on osx? Maybe with applescript or something similar?

Re: Re-assigning mousewheel to zoom (yes, it works!)
I am still using Live 6 for DJing (as I have it all set up the way I like it)...
I've always been annoyed that the scroll wheel does not zoom, so when I found this thread I thought great!!
However the link on the first page gets a 404...
So has anyone got a fresh link to this script??
Many thanks

I don't own max4live yet but is there anyone here that can say weather or not this kind of action would be possible to create using it? Scroll wheel zooming, that is.

I have updated the mousewheel script for Live 6. You can get it here.
Enjoy!

Anyone managed scroll wheel or magic mouse/trackpad two finger zooming?

Can anyone post the mouse wheel zoom AutoHotkey script? (I'm aware of the VitaminL solution, but I'm just looking for this specific script.)

I would also like just the mouse wheel script. I don't want the usual shortcuts taken over (or give Vitamin L some options please)
Thank you.
Thank you.

real late to the game here but….when I press F9 Ableton does not begin recording. I'm certain this is my fault but cannot correct it myself. SOS. Thanks you!
