that's where people get it twisted.

just because you do smoke pot doesn't mean you always smoke pot. there are definitely times I hate to smoke it, my head's not in the right space. other time's, it's all good.

that was my point though

when I do become an extremely successful rich hip hop rapper or producer with not a care in the world and all my goals accomplished then I can smoke...

Random thoughts:

It is nothing short of ridiculous the way marijuana continues to be demonized and criminalized the way it does in the U.S., especially compared to how excessive alcohol consumption is celebrated. Here's a plant that could be making the government a lot of money and helping industries in many ways, all lost because of unfounded and irrational stigmas.

The notion that pot is somehow hundreds of times more potent now than in the past is just stupid. Same plant it's always been, to this day nobody's ever overdosed or died from it but many sick people have improved their quality of life from it. The way Cheech and Chong act in their movies, I've never acted in real life off of pot. I would argue it was more potent then!

Many, many of our greatest thinkers, artists and founding fathers used marijuana regularly, so the notion that it prevents us from achieving our fullest potential is ludicrous. Of course this doesn't mean it's for everybody, we're all different. Personally I can't take much alcohol, and the after effects of intoxication are most unpleasant. Complete opposite with weed, I've never over-consumed or felt hung over...so to each their own I say. Considering tons of people die from alcohol overdoses each year, I'd much rather have the safer option but that's the illegal one - go figure.

The original Helmet were brutal. I saw them a loooong time ago in a tiny underground hole in the wall...it was on the second floor, and they were so heavy I honestly thought the floor was going to collapse! I was never that into them, but that show I'll never forget.

whatever. compare weed to alcohol and cigarettes on any level and weed wins. now excuse me while I go win.

what did you win? I said pot is a super drug now. You just proved my point.

I was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in Feb 07. Since that date i have been smoking weed , nearly round the clock. I have read about studies which have shown where thc has helped stop the growth of my particular tumour.

apart from being pretty mashed all day and with a bit of an addiction problem, I really think the smoke is helping (not my lungs cough cough) with the tumour. I do have a volcanon too, but too many just leave me vegitated. I dont suffer the paranoia as ive been smoking pot for years and can handle the thoughts it provokes.
Im in contact with the spanish scientist who carried out the studies, he is keen to find out how i get on.

anyway here's one for the weed

dude really sad to hear that

I had a close friend as a child who was basically like my sister who died from a brain tumour - she actually had about 5 of them and they kept getting removed it wasn't till the last one that she lost the battle

all the best and I really hope it works!

Best to you mate, and best wishes for a full recovery. I would be taking my "medicine" around the clock if I were under such circumstances as well.

Jazz guitarist Pat Martino had a massive tumor removed from his brain a decade or so ago, I've heard it was the size of a grapefruit! He was in a coma and when he came around he had total amnesia. Since then he's re-taught himself to play guitar and got his life back together, and he's been back putting albums out ever since.
