Where exactly did I say that they were subhuman? You are putting words into my mouth.
pennies per hour job of stitching running shoes is considered a blessing.
Do you actually consider that a blessing? They're economic situations wouldn't be so poor if we all payed a little more attention to our government's policies and a little less attention to cable.

I believe in giving and helping those less fortunate but I also believe in Capitalism. Competition and self responsibity.

May the best man. Deliver the best product. It create opportunity and reward for hard work. If you're at the top you can call the shots - you worked hard for it.

In this capitalist thing you're going to have winners and losers - if you work hard enough you'll be one of the winners. If you sit on your ass and expect the world to give you everything you're going to be one of the losers.

It's a very cold and harsh thing to say, I know this but it's the way the world works. But believe it or not if you work hard enough, try hard enough you will win.

I don't think like a communist. I want to keep all I work for, if I have a surplus of shit I don't need, I'll give it away - but how did I get to the point of being able to give, I worked for it.

You want to talk about propaganda, most of you are so brainwashed you can't even adequately explain why you hate America, you just do.
That's bullshit.. i don't hate america.. i hate empirical policies from any government that deterministically subjugate others to a life of poverty, where their only means to really better themselves is to illegally "repatriate" themselves and subject themselves to inhuman situations. You know what it's like for people living refugee in Australia? These are people trying to get themselves out of their situation like adonis said, but it's not that easy. Adonis is only considering the minority that actually make it to be able to have the opportunity to work illegally for however breif a period, and hopefully get the opportunity to educate themselves.

Education should be a right, not something people should have to kill, fight, die for. It should be like water, which also isn't a right. People have to kill, fight, and die for that, too. Maybe not you, but that's only because you're lucky enough to have been born in the FREE world. But, what are you doing for these people. Nothing. But, you have the ability to. John Lennon brought attention to this stuff.
if you are using live to make dance music or rock and roll, also American.
Then you have the ability to reach out to alot of people and help them realize that's it's ok to criticize. It's alright to have revolutionary ideas that aren't a part of the status quo, and that help society instead of hold it back.

So you're saying these people that work 14hrs a day/7 days a week and will never have the opportunities that you have should just be losers, only because of where they were born?

I'm not a socialist. But, i don't believe in capitalism, i.e. the law of the jungle. We came out of the trees. We can think and communicate our ideas to each other, for the betterment of others... not to hold others down, so that we can line our pockets.

I'm not preaching here. I just feel that most people aren't willing to see the ignorance in our social policies, and affect positive change in them, but instead entrust them to corrupt corporate shills like our dearly departed Kenny.

Instead of working 14 hour days why don't they go to school - they can do, they may have to sacrifice but they can do it - people do it all the time

Get a technical degree, or at least a GED - a lot of people, immigrant and otherwise don't realise what opportunities they have. They think they have to stay stuck in that crappy job when the fact of the matter is they don't

It's not going to be easy but I can't imagine back breaking work is either

i wasn't referring to "you" as in personally... i was referring to 'you' as in, the effigy of the current state of humanity that validates (which you do by making that kind of statement) these kinds of policies as a normal occurence of our lives. Yes, it is part of the human condition, but it doesn't have to be, and as soon as we all wake up and realize that we all bring these things upon ourselves, the better. We are all in this together.. it's not a very big planet, and we're getting too big for our britches... we're coming around to about 8000+ years of concious human history, and you'd think that "we's all grown up now".. and wouldn't have to kill each other for stupid shit.

Are you fucking kidding me, adonis? What "they" are you talking about? And who is going to feed "their" family? You're not thinking that these opportunities are not present for them in their environment. We're not talking about some dopehead working at McD's because he's too lazy to get a job. Ever been to South America? Ever seen the sweatshops and conditions our multinational companies have been so curteous to give these people.. the blessing to their economy.

Well we have two schools of thought - I've been to a third world country and it's a sad sad sad place but we're talking about America here

at least I thought

but a thrid world country making Nike tennis shoes has it's own issues they need to deal with - as a country, whole etc

the people can stand up and demand and the government can shoot them down - that's their business

I'm talking about America here though

That's ours as well, because the US keeps promoting these governments, even as we speak. Haiti is a prime example.

Actually, the subject was America's policies and why do people hate america. It was mentioned that america hater's keep hating but without valid reasons. I'm playing devil's advocate and dropping tons of names, info's, references, etc.

Again, i don't hate america, i just like to read alot and know that alot of what people believe is incorrect, and it's not their fault, it's years and years of brainwashing.

That's so nice of you, but that's not my intent either. I think a little healthy debate never hurt anyone.. these personal attacks on me and others aren't really conducive to the discussing the merits of the debate.. the thing i find most troubling is, i keep bringing more and more references to the table and validating my points with documented facts and you all seem to get frustrated at some point because your only debating with propaganda, insinuation and the like, and eventually you fold and start attacking my sanity, capabilites, intelligence, yadda yadda.

I challenge anyone who really wants to debate these issues to start validating their insinuations with facts, reference, etc. Let's see articles, pictures, etc... instead of off the top of your head innuendo's. I'm actually done for now, because i've got work to do, but i'll respond here and there...

Oh and let's not forget

Blues, Jazz and Hip-Hop

Had the british not brought all those slaves over, well had the british not brought all those slaves over - we'll leave it at that

The one thing America hasn't done is kill a bunch of Jews for the sake of killing them

Or drag a bunch of African's from their home land and force them into slavery

but that's all in the past - we're talking about current issues

No offense Adonis, cause I really do love you, but how "hard" do you work? I mean, you must spend half your work hours on this board.

I worked harder as a dishwasher than as a technocrat.
