There’s third party apps that supposedly fix your tagging and artwork issue but I can’t recommend any because the last one I tried changed the artwork for a third of my tracks to the Best of the Doors album cover. I’m still working on undoing that years later.

i had the same issue once... all of my tracks ended up with A Tribe Called Quest's Low End Theory album cover... 100's of them still have it... the problem for me, then, was that i made the file names too long... i tried to put it ALL in the file name Artist - Album - track number... yeah, not so good when you have tracks with names like:

"Cee-Lo Green - Cee-Lo Green and His Perfect Imperfections - 09 - Let Him Sing if He Wants to (Break)


kinda long in a 32 bit OS.

i basically abandoned that hard drive.

also, i grew up somewhere along the way and started paying for music instead of getting it from the likes of LimeWire so tagging became less cumbersome, tedious and confusing... UNTIL RECENTLY
