OT: What is IDM?

I don't care much for the term IDM either but, atleast if someone say's to me "It's IDM" then I know pretty much what they are talking about. Words are useful.

When I think of "glitch" I think of the elements that are used to construct the track. Glitchy sounds, like computers and machines malfunctioning. A lot of Sutekhs stuff has glitchy elements.

Same with micro. Very small elements and very precise editing, like Akufens micro editing.

Or lowercase, like Richard Chartier taking tiny elements and spacing them out into a spacious, minimal composition.

Or even click house.......

Yes, there are a lot of terms to keep up with but as annoying as they may get words are always a good thing.
