I have two USB game controllers for live tweakery...

I'm going to rip them open and combine them into one box and make an ULTRACOTROLLER! WOOP!

i still have 2 roland ms-1 samplers which have since been retired from main gigging for my roland sp606 sampler.
had to get 2, cos at 16bit 44khz they were 1 note polyphonic each, as well as off the memory card.
so i used 1 for "high res beats and stuff" while the other at 30khz mono, being 4 note poly for "samples on top"(gee, early days of gigging)
they run off batteries and are the size of a video cassette (as light too).
sometimes, when i have a drum gig, which needs some loops, i bring 1 out, as it's just so portable.
you can also trigger samples with a footswitch, so i sampled up a bunch of kicks. sometimes i rest the footswitch right next to the bass drum pedal, to trigger 808 kicks,
etc.
can't get much for them, so i don't think i'll be parting with them, plus every now and again they do come in pretty handy.
...and it's mr sakitumi (too late to change profile name)...damn
LIVE, DS lite, a tambourine, tape recorder.

One of the things I've learned is that it's usually a good idea to buy two of (almost) everything. It especially applies to microphones and general pro audio accessories.

I've got two identical laptops. If one fails I can just move the HD and boot right up.

Would not mind a second TX81z...

1 is the loneliest number

1 minus 1 is none

2 minus 1 is 1

1 + 1 is 2

That's code for my answer

If you like the virus and you think you need another one... get one. At least you know what to expect.
cool, thanks! i'm just torn bc the polar's my 1st synth and i don't know if this is just part of my burgeoning gear lust. looks like i'll be buying myself a nice little xmas present this year  8)
I dunno? I doubt patches between the two are compatible, and though the snow is decent, why not get the Waldorf Biofield? That way you have a different tonal palette to choose from, but similar enough to be in the same realm as the Virus sound.

Personally I would get the DSI desktop Evolver, but that's me.
I have a desktop... and the keyboard version is on it's way from Canada.... (licking fingers...)
I'm so excited about this...

. If you mean the Korg, and not the software version, then there is something definitly wrong with you!

my thoughts exactly!
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.
