Basically, you don't really switch between them. You must decide in advance, which parameters you might wish to change all at the same time. You can specify the polarity, and the range of each parameter. So, think of it this way,
You may want to increase the drive of saturator, while increasing the feedback of simple delay, but killing the wet/dry of the chorus effect. And you want this all to happen in real time.....pretty tricky with two hands.
But now, you can map all three of these parameters to a single virtual knob in a macro (provided all these effects are in the same chain), and that one knob will control all three. Then map that to a MIDI knob, and you are set....

just wanted to point out that they do not have to be in the same chain.
any effects or anything you want to map can be done in 6 can be mapped to the same button or key as anything else.
to test it out since i dont have midi here at work, i assigned keyboard key 'a' to:
dry/wet of a simple delay on track1
feedback of a ping pong on return 1
a specific clip on track 1
solo on track 1

This is all very true! But I was just mentioning specifically macros. The flexibility of mapping many parameters-one knob is astounding, and this added complexity is going to take awhile to get one's head around truly.ejectorset wrote:just wanted to point out that they do not have to be in the same chain.
