shes trying to get the state to pay for her to go to school (not cause she wants to go to school at all but because they will help support her...) so hopefully that'll work out for her and she'll be gone.
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

I'm going to tell her that she's cramping your style. Next time she tells you to get on the headphones make her clean your gear.

I use armor all and lint free clothes and the missus does this in my outfit of choice. I like the pirate.

funny,
this reminds me of our old music *bunker*
there was this one guy living literally underground, no windows, in summer- and wintertime, wet & cold. not to mention the super loud death metal combo next to his place. it felt like this was his *appartement*, he was always there and also asked people to play like: "not that loud again"
i dont know, some people just live like that...

a few years ago, me and my bandmates had a rehearsal room in an old
factory building. downstairs, really basic without a real heater, but a sofa.
I friend of us came from berlin for visiting, hehe. the visit lasts a year or so
where he lived in the room. It's a pretty cool and decent guy and it was no
problem for us. we made great music, and had a wonderfull time and partly i was
with him for a week or so, jamming.
till he invited a friend with a dog to join him.....yep, two persons and a dog staying
permanent in the rehearsal room.....no, that was too much.
The gear, the music, the flow - all suffered from this. We talked and they both got
a van and stayed there till they both left to berlin again

I can top it...
I have just totally redone my studio with acoustic treatment and bought a bunch of new software... I've been making some great mixes and getting used to the new sound... however, in 2 weeks my inlaws fly in from Canada to stay with us for a month. Guess where they are sleeping.
I am relegated to the dining room with my setup on a table and headphones while they get to sleep in a room that makes no echo and looks like it's covered in pillows.
WOE.

I think if you moved your studio, lodger and all to a swanky art gallery you could have a turner prize winning instalation there...
Or you could always insist that she puts her stuff and her self at startegic places in the studio and act as human acoustic treatment....
Have her modified for general midi...(You then are playing her instead of the opposite)
