Tricks for Windows 7, under mac with Ableton

Testing right now, ableton 8.0.4 trial with windows 7, under MACBOOK AIR 1.6ghz 80GB HD 2GB RAM
Some troubles i find here are common to all macs, like audio drops generated by wifi and by "Keyboard Manager" driver form apple:

1- Macbook air work absolutly more fresh, after i setup correctly the speed step on windows 7
2- KBdMgr.exe cause dropouts in audio, you need kill that process for no audio dropouts, that exe is used for the keyboard light and lcd screen bright.
3- WI-FI: wi-fi can cause drops in audio, just disable the device, not only disconected, DEVICE DESACTIVATED.
4- Disable Aero: not really needed but you can see windows run more faster with graphic glass gui disabled.
5- Make right click over ableton 8 icon, and select in compatibility WINDOWS VISTA, yu need run on that mode on windows 7.

Really work absolutly better under windows 7.
OSX cause alot of high temperature troubles on macbook air, audio drops etc etc, under 7 work perfect.

I already use windows 7 months ago for my gigs without any trouble, higly sugested, but make your tests.....
New nvidia macbooks need the more newer drivers from NVIDIA, is kowed new nvidia video cause audio drops with older drivers under windows.

EDIT, new info:
On new NVIDIA Macbook Air you can have drops due DPC LATENCY genreated by video card.

For not restart machine after kill KBdMgr.exe go and download Bottcamped Tools
You can kill the process and start again.
I highly sugest work with KBdMgr.exe killed! afinity setup to processor 2 is a trick not really work!

With latest drivers for broadcom WI-FI, i continue with some little drops if not disable the wi-fi, i try investigate if possible tweak something for not disable the wi-fi
