oh yeah i've seen these threads, thanks. I just meant that it's weird that so many people are complaining about it and I haven't really heard the whining at all. Probably due to the inevitable hearing loss i've gone through over the years.Warminstrel wrote:
Theres another thread on this though not sure how I post a link to another thread??
However i did get the OP/thread by searching 'apc whining'.
Cant comment on it first hand I'm afraid as I don't have an APC.
Prolly just the same kind of 'ciruit' hume I get from my FCB 10/10 (which is thankfully about 5 feet bellow me most of the time so no bad.)

That's the kind of carpets ya'll rock in Australia.... That's different.
Re: Post your set up and your ugly cat...
I have a fear of dark and busy carpets...
I believe I would lose everything in them.

the carpet really reminds me of a yellow chocolate marble cake for some reason.. the middle part when you slice into one..

McQ714-
It appears that your PadKontrol is more prominently placed than Maschine.
Which would you let go of first?
PS - nice set up

Re: Post your set up and your ugly cat...
Maschine controller still needs some breaking in and I really wish they'd fix the midi output of the software. It's really an amazing piece of gear otherwise. I've used it for all of my drums lately but I don't really use the built-in sequencer. I've been putting together loops and bouncing down the audio to another track and then muting Maschine. I could be using a lot more of Maschine's abilities but I like working in Live better. I don't really run it stand alone at the moment.Hidden Driveways wrote:McQ714-

I guess to answer your question, I would probably let go of the padKontrol but I doubt I ever will. The only two pieces of gear I managed to depart with are my Echo Indigo DJ card which I have no use for because I don't have a PCMCIA slot on my laptop now and an Alesis Multimix 12 USB 1.1 mixer, both of which I've kinda perma-loaned to my friend.

mcQ714..
love the cats.. i'm still hesistant on getting one.. i'm just afraid they will treat my wires, equipment, and especially my sound panels as scratching posts.. somebody suggested getting a spray that repels cats to spray on equipment, but i heard they get used to the smell.. anyways, dope setup..

Re: Post your set up and your ugly cat...
don't have that problem yet.. my girlfriend still has her own place and the cats live there. we are planning to have them neutered, even though we really don't want to, when they are about 5 months.nuxnamon wrote:mcQ714..

A little light on hardware, admittedly. I do things the cheap way, for now.
