By the way if you can't afford a digital portable recorder (like me) a DV camcorder records pretty decent sound. It's 16 bit 48Khz so not the latest and greatest put definitely usable.

Really nice stuff if you like making percussion sounds out of real world sounds, lots of good stuff here!
