ah nice find DJ Vakis!
Have you tried this yourself? Do you know what the sound quality is like?

Its got to be better than the internal mic at least...

I wonder though if there will be better options available once the iPhone version 3.0 software is released-- It's supposed to include updates in this area from what I understand.
I'm sure there's going to be all kinds of crazy apps/hardware released when 3.0 comes out. I predict some kind of multitrack recorder with a mutilple ins/outs hardware interface.

It should be interesting to see how this all plays out. As it is now it's all too tempting and easy to buy apps on the store but there will probably be more hesitation and issues when you also have to buy a piece of hardware.

Hmm. Kinda like when you buy a new laptop and DAW, and then plugs, and then a controller(s), and then an external synth, and then.....

There's more issues, but hesitation? Naw. Only endless buying with reckless abandon. All in the hope that the next piece of gear will FINALLY make me sound awesome.

:P
I came for the
But stayed for the :x

Sorry to ask so many questions, my friend. But amazon says that they cant sell the item to people outside USA. I was just wondering whether Germany is allowed to buy products that the UK is not?
Maybe you have a friend in America that will get it for you! 8)

Mikey DOES work with the iPhone and iTouch, it was tested as part of the FiRe beta testing. You just need to make sure to put those in "Airplane Mode".

FiRe is what the topic of this thread is about :)

Sorry, I forgot to clarify, there is an issue with Mikey and 2nd Gen Ipod Touches currently. But Apple is aware of it and it will hopefully be fixed in the next update.
