Global Swing Value from L7 translated correctly?

Post by dr.wackler » Mon Mar 09, 2009 3:39 pm

I wonder if the global swing value from previous Live versions is translated correctly.
This is, did the 0 to 99 values in previous Live versions correspond to percentage values of
a) 0% to 130%, or rather to
b) 0% to 99% ?

Example:
If I load a song created in Live 7, that had a global swing value of 25, then Live 8's global swing percentage will be set to 33%.
This would be correct if for Live 7 "a)" was true, but not correct if for Live 7 "b)" was true.

Hi,

Yes, the translation should be true. We just changed the display scale, because formerly, 100% was about 77% and that was not very intuitive. Now you know when you "over-groove".

I'll move this thread away, please open a new one, would you find any problem.
