any suggestion on a good vst vocoder to use with ableton?

Upgrade to Live 8 and use the one that is built in. Looks to be a killer vocoder.

i will upgrade as soon as live 8 is available, but i need the vocoder now so i'm gonna try the other one you guys suggested.

The TAL vocoder is good. Infact all the TAL plugins are very good, so grab them all..

Used Live 8's vocoder last night and came away really impressed. It sounds real nice!
So if you are in the market for Live 8, I'd say wait for that one or give the TAL plug a try (it's pretty good as well).
