You can? I know the trick with the Random plugin but I'm curious to find out how to do it with LFO's.sunrahrahrah wrote:you can do 'round robin' with the lfo's....
Don't forget Sampler!
Yes, but how do you make it switch samples by triggering notes?Poster wrote:you can modulate the Sample Selector with the LFOs..hoffman2k wrote:You can? just by triggering a note..hoffman2k wrote:Yes, but how do you make it switch samples by triggering notes?Poster wrote:you can modulate the Sample Selector with the LFOs..hoffman2k wrote: You can? I know the trick with the Random plugin but I'm curious to find out how to do it with LFO's.
when modded by LFO, the Sample Selector receives the value of the LFO at the moment of Note On..
so everytime you hit a note, the Sample Selector receives a different value, thus playing a different sample, according to the Sample Select Ruler settings..
i.m.o. this works best when using the S&H LFO waveform.. this waveform calculates a different value at each Note On..
make sure Retrigger is deselected as well, since it'll then generate the same value at each Note On when using for instance a Sine LFO, thus playing the same sample..
