Live 8 for January 2009
Looks like there's going to be another announcement in January 09 - at NAMM. It could be Live 8 or it could be more on the partnership with Cycling '74 or Serato...

I'm guessing it's Live 8, though. Like you say, it's probably about time.

Nope, I received a special press invite already for the event, they are going to be announcing a new partnership with Native Instruments, but I can't give any details as to what the partnership entails.yossarianlives wrote:Looks like there's going to be another announcement in January 09 - at NAMM. UPDATE:
Just received another advance press invitation, this time with a simple message:
ABLETON + MICROSOFT
Be prepared to touch the future.
Totally sounds like they want to take advantage of the touch capabilities of Windows 7.
Super exciting stuff!!!

This just in:
Ableton and Reason to partner up for the next release of Ableton Live. All of Live's built in instruments and effects will now feature back panels with all of the jiggly cables Reason users have come to know and love.
Bonus: Routing now more simplified than ever! Want to send that audio track to a return track? Just drop in the new Ableton Patch Bay effect, and you can route everything using multicolored cables.
I can't wait, when is NAMM?
