I just got back to Australia and my laptop died on the plane-ride...

i got an ep to release asap - just gotta bounce the tracks in Ableton.

So i have an old desktop but no internet in my new place for a week or two...
(im at an internet cafe in town)

How do i get the 14day trial working without internet ?

How do I unlock Ableton on my (old) new computer ?

Any help would be appreciated

So you cant use the "trial version" without the internet connected for it to logon and "activate" your trial everytime you use it.

Even if you have your "old"copy of Ableton to copy the serial number from >>> IT DOES NOT SHOW IT ANYWHERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SO I AM SCREWED AT THE MOMENT.

I guess i have to try looking uyp my information on "my ableton account"

BUT THAT HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A TRIAL SERIAL NUMBER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So being that I am getting nailed by my Label for not havinmg the E.P ready on time ...

go to Dick Smiths and get an Unwired broadband kit.

u can use it for upto 2 weeks (confirm this with the sales dudes) and return it and get all ur money back.

wireless broadband.. and ur money back..

to be honest I reckon the quickest thing to do would be to ring the ABleton office - you got a mobile? if you're worried about the bill get a 10 buck voucher from a newsagent, the whole call including voucher would probably cost you $1

I reckon they'd be able to give you the unlock etc over the phone
