Hmm... not seen anything recently that's made me go 'Dang! That is on The List!'

There's always the obvious ones like Pulp Fiction, Trainspotting, Donnie Darko etc etc. I watched recently 'The Science Of Sleep' which was the follow up to 'Eternal Sunshine Of A Spotless Mind' - it slipped well under the radar on release. It's a bit convoluted at point, but it's really well put together; worth a watch or two.

Also, I've really enjoyed Stardust, The Three Burials Of Melqiades Estrada, The Brave One, The Kingdom, and The Proposition.

Gotta love LoveFilm.com!

"The Revenge Of Billy The Kid"

http://www.popcornpictures.co.uk/rfilms/billykid.shtml

In-breeding, bestiality and scat all rolled into a disgusting B-Movie.

The scene with the lard will be etched onto your retinas form years to come.

Oh, I forgot to mention one of the best British films I've ever seen.

This is England - A poignant study of the National front movement in England during the early 1980's seen through the eyes of a naive 12 year old. This film has me on the verge of tears at the end, a shocking, but beautiful piece of cinema.

Another interesting movie to watch, particularly with a significant other, is Secretary (2002).

You will be surprised by the relationship that develops between these intriguing characters. Starring Maggie Gyllenhaal & the ever weird James Spader.

Hard Candy - Creepy subject, but so well done. The director, David
Slade, has since made "30 days of night" which is also recommended.
