Live 3 clip envelope show case

Post by Robert Henke » Fri May 02, 2008 2:24 pm

http://www.monolake.de/downloads/free_track.html

A little track I wrote in 2003. It uses nothing but clip envelopes, a single sample of white noise and lots of effects. On the website you'll find the track as mp3 and the original Live 3 set.

Thought it could be inspiring ;-) ( But you cannot do minimal with a white noise sample. For minimal you need blue noise with a slight roll off at 17.5 kHz, or 14.3 khz if you are more into old Detroit stuff )

Rob.

// note, this track will only be at that location till end of May 2008....

where can one get a blue (or pink, or any other-than-white) noise generator?

free (mac ub, please) plugins perhaps?

Interesting to see how its constructed.. makes me think how nice it would be to be able to record midi directly into clip envelopes...

DL'ed the zip - but nothing has a file extension except the .asd.
So what am I missing here - how do I open the set?
Either way, Henke, thanks for the contribution.

I've renamed those two files but i can't open it.
I get an error message saying the live set was created by a newer version.

I think Robert is teasing us, and this was made with 8 Beta.

Ok, if someone on windows wants to re-save this in Live and upload it, that would be great.
