Simpler Legato Mode?

Post by jonathono2000 » Fri Mar 14, 2008 7:47 pm

I know I need t update my version of Live so this may be added already or there maybe something I'm missing.

Is there anyway to play a sample and not have the sample restart from the beginning everytime a new note is played? So that when you play a really long sample you can adjust the pitch by playing different notes but the sample just plays all the way through with restarting. I believe this would be similar to Legato on a standard synth, but I could be wrong.

If there is no way to do it with Live does anyone know any plug-ins that would?

firstly click the little [R] to stop the envelope retriggering
then turn 'glide' on (I think its that one rather than porta). With a rate of 0 to stop it actually gliding
