No sound output from clips after installing live 7

help please

have installed live 7 on my new vista latop

have installed new drivers for indigo echo card I used on old xp laptop which ran fine

Now am getting wierd thing I have never seen before; on hitting the clip launch button the little triange is flashing on and off, but there is no output on the volume slider.

switching to the laptop's own crappy sound card seems to solve the problem.

I am using the latest echo driver (8.something), the lateset console looks different from the old one, I am having some difficulty with it compared to the old one.

Anyone had similar problems/

Well guess not many other people had this problem

solved it by switching to an earlier echo driver...
