triplicate grid...

Post by cockandswan » Thu Jan 17, 2008 12:02 am

Hey everybody, I'm not sure where to post this but I'm wondering if anyone knows of a way to set up Ableton to alternate between regular and triplicate grids when zooming in and out of the sequencing tracks and the audio/midi clips.

It would make things much easier for me when I'm jumping back and forth between triplicate in Reason's Redrum computer.

Thanks for any help,
Johnny

PS: off the topic, does anyone else notice that when you add a breakpoint on the master volume it sometimes jerks the volume up or down by about 0.2db? What's the deal with that?

use cmd-3 (is it the same on pc? maybe it's ctrl-3) to flip between triplet and regular grid

that'll be a handy short cut, but there's no way of setting it so i don't have to input a command to scroll between triplicate and regular?
