some info from the ACLU on the Patriot Act. Some scary shit.
Allows government to operate in secret by authorizing secret arrests (sec. 201),

it does not end with Bush leaving. when Bush leaves it only begins.

The suits have changed but the old ties survive...

(replace public school tie reference to taste)
Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.

who am i, Martin Luther King? I don't know. resist. People need to want change. the darker it gets the easier it will be to see the light.

but these guys are top notch criminals. the worst of the worst. they have not invested lifetimes to achieve this only to throw it away; this shit goes deep in their bloodlines. people need to get pissed off and stop being so fearful because that is how they win. they live off fear like vampires live off blood. .

they are already rigging elections again in these primaries and don't think it won't go to the main election again. bush is ranting the same rhetoric about iran as he did about iraq. they are going in there but they need to be stopped.

people in the military need to stand up. they all took and oath to defend the constitution from threats both foreign and domestic. well we have a domestic threat amongst us. there is also a code that they must not take orders from a superior officer if those orders are illegal. so just as it will crumble from within it can be healed from within as well.

but if we go into iran we have russia and china to deal with.

what a mess. just wait until innocent Americans like myself start disappearing for posting this kind of stuff. bush meant it when he said you are either with him or against him. well he can suck my balls, i will never be with him.

Did I miss the sign at the entry of this forum that says "post your random political ramblings/wacko theories here"?

I like dark women!

oops wrong topic

Wel that iraq thing... The problem is the current danish government doesn't do much to stand up against USA but then again, Bush's with us or against is a bit

You are right about the military, and i suppose they are rather intelligent the ones at the top there, and they still don't do anything?

bah.. sometimes the world just suck ass eh

Ha, ha. What moron made that video?

Do you think they have some "top secret" police video?

Why do you think they police make those videos?

They make them so that later on they can show their side of the story. The police in the United States are under tremendous scrutiny for every action. They video tape everything so that good cops can be shown to have been doing the correct thing and bad cops can be exposed.

Do the cops also make "undercover" video? Most likely - but this is not it.

I'm no fan of the cops, but come on.

Agreed. But ableton won't do anything about it so... duke it out is the policy. Porn and drug spam is welcome to in the Ableton forums. Really makes ableton look like a top-notch professional company.

:p

They seem like nice people in general. But then i heard in the radio a commentater saying something about that they don't want a woman at the power and certainly not a coloured man a lot of the general public.

Funny, because i interpretted it was going pretty well with Obama?

maybe its because programmers are intelligent people in general, but i haven't met anybody who was a racist from there :/

whatever. Why do people care for colours? They're crazy. Until now i've only found the southern american girls / latin more warm hearted than the majority :)

lol @ the word 'nice' being bandied about as if it means something in the context of politics.

by nice i mean that the people were tolerant, not disrespectful, open, inviting and not aggressive .. considering im iranian i expected people to be hostile... shit i get more hostility trying to pay for a meal at a restaurant in sydney (not coz of racism, just coz people here are up themselves).

I know what you mean, it's still funny. Someone being nice & affable does not equal 'good politics'

Nice is superficial.
