Session view Midi Controller

In your opinion, what would be the best external midi controller for session view? All I really want is a matrix with tracks, clips and scenes, so probably the best bet is a fcb 1010... but i'd like to do it with the bcr... a monome would be probably perfect, but maybe there's something obvious I'm missing, maybe it can be done with a simple shifted ps/2 keyboard..

I dunno maybe a UC33e or a couple of faderfoxes.
