DEAR ABES,
I HOPE YOU REMEMBER:
"Live 6 still has the limitation that only the first 128 paramters can be automated. It's on top of all related plug-in improvements but it did not make into Live 6. Feel free to vote for it in the wishlist forum.
Regards,
/Alex"
SO HERE WE ARE !!!

The solution is so obvious.. Its doing my head in.
- Right-click on a vst and select "show parameter list"
- It will show a list of ALL the parameters in the browser. (just like MIDI assignments)
- You can rearrange the order of the parameters. Move the ones you wish to automate to the top.
- Save as "parameter list for plugin X"
Added bonus:
- Since you have a custom arranged list of 128 parameters, you also have the ability to control these parameters using CC 0 to 127. (Automapping XL )
- The same thing would work for finally adding automation in session view for Ableton devices, since CC's can be recorded already.
So freaking simple...

I was talking about the solution being obvious for Ableton.DiMuTech wrote:Well explain how to do it with Albino 3 then mate if it's so simple.hoffman2k wrote:The solution is so obvious.. Its doing my head in.

That it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this one out.
Obviously this has still not been implemented.
I should perhaps stop using the word "obvious", obviously

Please hoffman2k accept my apologies I thought it was directed to the user and not to Ableton. So I retract my last post. No hard feelings heyhoffman2k wrote:
