what the F**K is Impulse?!

Post by erickw » Tue Jul 31, 2007 7:20 pm

i've just installed Live 6 and being a beginner i am eagar and impatient and also not use to the controls and the setup. so i have decided to use the "lessons" that are suppose to be helpful. and i am in the process in "creating a beat", under Live Basics. and i have come to the second page. i repeat SECOND page. and i am already stuck! i need some help finding "live's percussion sampler",Impulse (in bold), whatever that is. help would be nice. or some new instructions/lessons.

thanks!

wow. um, go to that thing on the left that looks like, and is, a file tree. the top folder is live fx and instruments, click instruments, then impulse.

And I guess you were too impatient to read a couple of pages of the manual, right ?

hey dont be jerks. maybe this thing isn't for me. but i really want this program to work for me. :( and i did look in the manual, and i wouldn't actually post without looking, because the internet is such a nice place. And i was kind of frustrated when i posted the topic, so sorry if i gave out a bad vibe.

Hi,

Did you find it finally? You can look into the 'playing software instruments' lesson, which describes how to load a software instrument, which Impulse is.

Dude, I am as impatient and eager as they come, but there's a difference between that and being downright immature and rude.

Get a grip, grow up, take 15 minutes to follow the lessons and the next time you ask for help, use a little more tact.

actually, the tally was zero, right? +1-1=0x1=0 (with the one added since, we're now at 1.)
