I'm curious to know what others are getting here.
As support had originally indicated, Live is unstable under Aero Glass. I thought that 6.0.5 had begun to address this, but perhaps not. I'm unable to use Live at *all* under Aero; I get crashes just instantiating instruments. If I boot under Aero Basic or even Windows Classic, it seems to operate normally.
I have seen some other performance issues. First, I was getting major disk I/O issues -- and then realized that Vista was indexing files in the background. (Multichannel audio, and it thinks the machine is idle?!) It's getting better as the install "settles", but I also see you can turn off some indexing via Drive > Properties > General > Index this drive for faster searching. (That's an XP setting, though; not sure if that's what I wanted or not.)
I've also seen some performance issues. I certainly wouldn't advise upgrading, but I'm kind of curious to dig deeper and understand what's going on.

... tells you how to turn off indexing. This has had a huge impact, from what I can tell.
