Ableton Live workshop at TOILETRONICA, London, March 31st

Post by mindlobster » Thu Mar 22, 2007 11:08 pm

TOILETRONICA - Bleeps, Beats & Bleach!

29-31st March - 3 days of laptop sets, bands, DJs, VJs, and art in a real toilet - the notorious Toilet Gallery, in South West London.

Ableton Live workshop by Martin Delaney on Saturday pm...Martin wrote 'Laptop Music', 'Ableton Live 5 Tips & Tricks', and created the 'Ableton Live 101' DVD for MacProVideo. Ableton have supplied some goodies for a giveaway: t-shirts, bags, hats, and the ever-useful lanyards!

Sets by: mindlobster, Tristan Burfield, Gagarin, Don Tempi, Zoltan Kodaly School For Girls, Tokyo Joe, Underscore, J-Lab, Arktorus Rann, Isnaj Dui, Last Precious Cookie, Frankyboy, Yogagroove, and Steranko...ranging from ambient to techno to punk/metal, with a stop for schoolgirls playing the recorder along the way!

Come down during the day and build your own mini-toilet - materials supplied (yes, it's true).

Got an email about this today and hoping to come down.

Any more details on what's on when? I can't spend three days south of the river. ;)

What do you mean, 'going away'? Wouldn't your old lady like to see a group of strange men and women playing with their laptops in a public toilet? What could possibly be better than that?

Right, haven't managed to get over to this yet.

Determined to make it for tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon and evening.

Say hello if you see me.

I'll be the bald bloke with the laptop...

Oh. Do you think there'll be more than one? ;)

OK, I'll be the bald bloke in the brown suit (probably...)
