a really useful tool would be markers in the arrange window
like digital performer would be best to be able to drag to the start of a measure or simply drag off the grid..could be used for song points and cue markings..could enter either numerical or text for each marker
sound good?

amen, i had just been thinking about that after using sonar for some stuff--the markers, and a more precise time reference (such as 3:04:976 --3rd measure, 4th beat plus .976 of a beat). These features would make arranging in the arranger view much easier and would allow more flexiblity in working with samples that start slightly behind or after beats.

yes also feel markers would be a great addition to the program without having to go midi so to speak
the extended time read out does not make sense to me(last post) for a live application
The read out of the transport seems fine especially when you need to find a spot
1.1.1 is very clear
To make closer really feel that is what needs to be done by the user in basic sample editing in the sample markers window
PLEASE
keep the transport read out SIMPLE in terms of measures
the markers idea is a good one in that you could make the arrange window say whatever needs to be said for actual measure reference and or song creation parts..verse1,chorus and the like..

Have seen a ton of posts from people regarding markers in the arrangement view to help structure songs and make notes, etc. Will this be available in 3.0?
