Can you do it in Ableton, e.g. with simpler?
I want to control sample pitch and filter cutoff with note velocity.

only way i can think of is to route another midi track to your simpler one to trigger it but that would take more time then just drawing it out?
Tonedeft?

yes you could draw it out. The other part about triggering i do not understand.
I have some simplers set up to play percussion sounds. I want to set them up so when I play the keyboard harder, I'll get a slightly higher pitch for instance.
It's a very common feature on samplers.

Impulse is your best bet for velocity controlled filter and pitch on percussion.
Just switch on the filter and up the Velocity percentage next to both parameters.

Thx for helping me on the way southern. Using your tip I found you indeed can also control Filter cutoff by note velocity on the simpler! It works identically to the impulse. However, this modulation function is not implemented for pitch control. Guess I'll be drawing envelopes...
