The Ultimate Controler for Live has been found
Jeff Han's touch sensing comes up here quite regularly, good to see he is commercialising what has been (up until now) a research project.
Also, his demo videos show some great improvements in functionality and demonstration skills. I'm sure the investment finance is flowing in like a big money river right now.

That's freaking amazing stuff man...always nice to see "Star Trek" stuff come to reality...not that anything like this was ever on Star Trek but you know what I mean.

I've got a load of video links somewhere about Jeff Han
actually haptic feedback is the missing link here, anyone who has tried playing a theremin will tell you it is the lack of touching anything (physical feedback) which makes it so hard.
Thats why Trautoniums are so popular. rub my ribbon baby.
er, yes, with me anyway. currently trying to assemble a trautonium-esque instrument from videotape.
Nebulae: never considered playing live without a top on to display my wonderful back. It doesn't look anything like either of those though, you might be disappointed. Hopefully the music would be enough. You're right though, I could look at some girls back's all night long.
Angstrom: didnae think of that. you "rub my ribbon" made me think of you (who I've never met, so it's a fuzzy image) doing some kind of A-team thingy. On a desert island you'd be the one scavenging the in the fuselage for parts to make a noise generator.

I wonder what will happen to all the lemur machines when home computers finally get multitouch screens. or better yet, a tablet.
will people still collect them? I'm thinking so, or maybe they'll all end up on ebay. I think I'd still want a lemur even if home computers were multitouch just cause lemurs are so cool and OUTSIDE of the computer is nice.

It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.
