EIC - worth it?

Post by rbro » Thu Dec 28, 2006 10:57 pm

Whaddya think? I'm pondering whether to just buy the Live 6 D/L version, blow off the EIC altogether and spend my money elsewhere. Anyone regret having bought the EIC? Anyone really happy with their purchase? I've got a bunch of sampled instruments from Garageband Jampacks and such and I don't think I'll have too much need for "orchestral" instruments, but then again I know how nice it is to have instruments well integrated into Live (like Operator)...so worth it or not?

so is EIC worth it for Tarnce?
;)

but honestly i heard some of the demos and found them to be amazing,

if i didnt get EIC what would be another hypersampled instrument bundle (same price 119) to use in Sampler?

sorry to hi jack the thread.

Well i think SI is a layered Instrument in it's own right ? but i think it is sample based, as is East west silver..but they both sound great. but both have reasons to buy them..if you see what i mean !?

Em, EIC does have a "couple" of eastern sounds.. but it's not what i would base an eastern feel on.. at all... but as a orch instrument it's a good start. i use it more than i thought i would.
