Much warmer than it should be. But the temperature has dropped a little, and its supposed to get pretty cold this weekend.

Last week it was cold, but the last two days I drove to work wearing no jacket, short sleeves, and had the drivers and passenger side windows down in my jeep. Tonight I opened a window, but it was too cold without a blanket and too hot with one. Could not sleep at all, hence the reason why I am awake at 5 am, browsing forums, making beats, and not wanting to leave for work in an hour.

hot as always in honolulu.

the usual pre winter north winds are blowing through which cool things down a little at night.

but everyones weather everywhere is going to be screwed, global warming is not just an idea, it is happening now and we will get to live to see how screwy it can get.

yeah, definitely ugg.... work. I woke up around 2 am, and now I'm ready to go back to bed but I really can't because I'll sleep till 11 if I do.

The earlier I go to work the earlier I can leave, I usually don't work Saturdays but I'm doing my boss a favor and going in for a couple of hours.

As far as the global warming thing goes, definitely with you on that. Every year the seasons get crazier and crazier.

The thing is that "global warming" is going to equal percieved global "cooling" if you listen to all the so-called experts.

Here's one thing I believe......the more concrete and steel we erect, the worse it is in urban areas. For example, when I moved here to sacramento (the area that is) there were lot's of fields and space (about 6 years ago). I ride my bike allot (yep, I put my money where my mouth is) and at night in the summer it was COLD when you went past these areas.....I mean SUPER COLD! The same areas that are now starbucks, and shitty fast food/gay shops.........HOT! Coincidence? I doubt it.......

My house is literally on a wildlife reserve.......but if you go just a few houses away from that in the summer......you can't bear it!

Ok, I'm rambling..........NEXT!

That phenominon is called the Heat Island Effect. If you look at a satellite infrared image from space, looking down at a large city and the surrounding areas.... you will notice that the city tends to be a few degrees warmer than the surrounding areas.... due to the concrete which absorbs more heat than the trees and grass do in rural areas.

For my weekend job I ride rickshaws in the West-end in London. Working hours are usually between 8pm and 4am. Last night it occured to me that it was the FIRST OF DECEMBER and I was riding around in a long sleeved cotton shirt without gloves or a scarf, sweating like a madman. Now granted it's a lot of exercise carting people around, and there's this inner city 'island effect', but this weather so late in the year is just abnormal.

it was in the 80s F one day, then the 30s F the next. Texas is like that.

My air conditioning is broken right now, and I'm fucking dying from the heat. I can't sleep with my room at 82 degrees. I like to keep it more like 60-65.
