yes, the megaupload site wants you to enter the 3 letter anti-bot code.
Yousendit needs a registration. But it looks like the links for the #2 and #3 are the same.
man. at times this is strange chaos, at times it is strangely wonderful.
i had some clipping/dropout issues, i am not sure why, and they sadden me.

UTENZIL a tool... of the muse.
Fixed the link. Is the yousendit here asking for a login? It should go straight to dl.mikemc wrote:yes, the megaupload site wants you to enter the 3 letter anti-bot code.

Also, for some reason Mike your channels almost hard panned to the right I think, hence the clipping. We need to work that out.
Yep, link works. hmmm ... that is odd, was not panned this way. grrr, maybe left cable shorting was what was going on.pulsoc wrote:Fixed the link. Is the yousendit here asking for a login? there was a fair amount of clipping for all *tee hee* it was fun.

Yeah I figured that was it, I noticed it when we were playing and asked you but the problem was either in the cable or the mixer I was using. I will check that out too.mikemc wrote: Yep, link works. hmmm ... that is odd, was not panned this way. grrr, maybe left cable shorting was what was going on.

It WAS fun, and frankly sounds pretty ok even on playback
This is sick man! Very nice stuff!
It makes me very envious of the fact that you know 5 other people who use live and produce experimental electronic music.
I don't even know ONE person near me who uses live to produce *ANY* kind of music!!!
Very nice sounds. The live Live laptop band is where it's at.

We had some sync issues, so I think all or most of it was freestyle. I played the bass synth part for some and drums for other parts. I think it definitely would have been tighter if we had been synced, something we should look into for the next one.Michael-SW wrote:Did you do it completely freestyle or had you some sort of midi sync?

Right, I meant that we tried to midi sync but ran into technical issues. We should try to clear that up for next time.Michael-SW wrote:If you want to play beats on several computers sync is probably a good idea among those at least. But if you are not doing too high tempo, you can probably manage with tap tempo.
There was one point where I realized I was playing at 185 bpm on beats when we had all previously determined we would be at 175. I started yelling to the other guys to warn them "I'm at 185 bpm" and they started cheering and yelling "go Will! 185 bpm!". It was funny.
