Guitar backing tracks

Post by scott443187 » Sun May 21, 2006 4:38 pm

Here are some backing tracks i made for my guitar lessons website

Track 1http://www.s129908440.websitehome.co.uk ... Track1.mp3
Track 2http://www.s129908440.websitehome.co.uk ... Track2.mp3
Track 3http://www.s129908440.websitehome.co.uk ... Track3.mp3

Feel free to use them to jam along with, they are designed to be easy to play to with extended verses etc. to give more time for twiddling :D

All tracks were made with Ableton Live 5, Guitar rig and Jamstix none are great quality but good fun to play to and were really easy to make thanks to Live. All tracks were written to sound like other bands see if you can guess which ones :D

I like number 2 :)
And I'd say Coldplay? Anyway it sounds ok and you were right, it's fun to jam with this

Foo Fighters......hmmm.....maybe :?
This one was done at the request of one of my pupils and was taken from a particular song not just the band. Here's a clue - the band loves chemistry.

Just to let you know there should be some more backing tracks going up on the site soon. http://www.scottsguitarlessons.co.uk/22732.html
The next ones will be done by the guys that work for me, so not sure what they'll be like but I think it's going to be blues orientated. Anyway as with the others feel free to jam with them and leave your comments :D
