MORE IMPULSE SLOTS - BETTER SAVING OF IMPULSE PRESETS

Post by DJSK » Sat Oct 29, 2005 10:38 am

I hate having to use more than one drum machine if not needed. More slots would be more useful. I am not sure how it effects cpu speed but I think 16 slots would be more satisfactory. My other complaint is that whenever I save an Impulse Preset it doesn't save it properly if I drop my own samples in there. Whenever I play the set on another computer I have to make sure I remember where the samples is. And then reload the sample on to the other computer as well. Then I have to go and tell live what new folder it's in. As soon as I save the set and go back to the other computer I have to retell live where the sample is again. UHHHGGGGHHH!!!!

Hey DJSK,

We wrote a little tutorial with some tips on how you can exchange presets between computers.
