Drum Rack Hides MPE Note Pitch Bend
With MPE we can now pitch bend individual notes. Good job.
Since it works with Sampler this seems is perfect for pitching individual drum hits in Drum Rack
Unfortunately the Drum Rack also affects how the fold button works in the piano roll, meaning you can no longer "fully unfold" the piano roll, even with an instrument on every single note. This behaviour completely hides access to MPE Pitch Bend. You can pitch bend and then drag it into a Drum Rack and hear it but still can't see it, real frustrating
So... any idea how I can either change how the Drum Rack Fold button works or easily convert a Drum Rack into an Instrument Rack without having to sacrifice my Drum Rack Pol & Pan settings?

Yep, that's a edge case and there's no good solution atm. You simply can't do per note pitch bend within drum racks.

Re: Drum Rack Hides MPE Note Pitch Bend
Sure, there's not a huge amount of MPE drum controllers yet but given time more people might run in to this problem. Thanks for letting me know I wasn't just missing anything obvious.
For anyone wanting to access/edit MPE per note pitch bend on instruments/kits that have labels in their piano roll here's a half solution:
Build your kit in Instrument Rack instead of Drum Rack and use a Midi Effects Rack with empty chains for the labels. It still won't work when the labels are active but at least with a Midi Effects Rack you can toggle "Show Names in MIDI Editor" in it's context menu. Work on your notes, hide your labels, access pitch bends, show your labels, work on your notes again

That's something I'd love to see implemented too.
Let's move this topic to the Feature Wishlist and hope for the future

+1 on this, its such a weird limitation and unexpected behavior. Especially now with Push 3
Re: Drum Rack Hides MPE Note Pitch Bend
+1, I also want to use pitchbend in drum rack!
Re: Drum Rack Hides MPE Note Pitch Bend
It's something to do with folding the keybed. I noticed this today, added pitch drop on a bass line and then went to do it again and wondered where the bends had gone even though I was on the sparkly new MPE tab in the piano roll, if you're set to scale or fold, no bends.

A workaround is to control NotePB with Slide or Pressure.
