Hello and sorry for my bad english! I have an Akai APC64 with Ableton Live Lite 11. Love them, but i play drums and recently I've bought an Alesis Surge SE and man...love It as well!
I konow that this problem Is related to Poly Aftertouch. I've tried the module with VSTs in a full Live suite, to see if the problem was with the lite version, but no choke there too. I've MPE on, in VST preference i've the Surge preset, i have the single choke on cymbals settings, but nope, choke won't works.
I've read that there is a MAX trick, but I've seen only Roland drums on the blog and i have no gate or note length on my module. So, here Is the question: is there a way to make my cymbals choke in Live 11?
Thank you!

You should search the forum, there's several topics discussing this, there's even one created 2 days ago.

Hello and thank you for the reply. I've searched in the forum but i've not found any solution to the Alesis Surge module, only for Roland e-drums.
