Hey folks,
I had a big hope that the new, Live 11 update will fix the issue. Where we can drag and drop files as before 11.3.11. But it seems, that this issue is still in version 11.3.20 happen!
Please fix the issue, where we can drag and drop files from the external explorer and not have to add every folder to the places, where we can only drag and drop intern from Ableton. And please, not only WAV, also MP3 files, as before. Would be great to get this back to my workflow.
I think, this issue isn`t only happen at me.
It can`t be a big deal, to fix this issue.
Since before Live 11.3.11 it was constantly avaiable to do this!

I would say, good choice to be still on 11.3.10. Maybe I will go back to this version too. Because I for now, I don`t know, if I will make the big update to 12. Sincerly this. If you use the Drag and Drop out of Ableton feature. I recommand to not update to the newer version.
Because no version after 11.3.10 has the drag and drop feature. The only workaround is, to put all the files on one main "places" folder you added or add all folders you use for Ableton to the Places. But this is crazy. I would need to add more than 20 Folders and this isn`t a great workflow or best organized thing. Because sometimes it takes much time, till all the folders are updated / synced.

Drag & drop of audio files works fine for me on 11.3.20 (and all earlier versions).
I am on a Mac, but I would be very, very surprised if Ableton removed support for something as fundamental as drag & drop on Windows but not Mac, especially with a minor patch update such as 11.3.11. There is certainly no mention of it in the release notes.

Drag and drop is working on Live 11.3.20 on PC. Also working on Live 12.0b.25 on PC.
Tested wav, mp3 and aif on both versions.
Tested dragging clips from Live to File Explorer. That's working too.
