Ableton automatic update screwed up project recovery

So, for the first time in ages Ableton Live manages to lose the project I was working on.

Live crashed while I was manipulating a curve. The audio engine kept on playing, but the the application stopped responding. So I waited for a few minutes and decided to terminate it with "Force quit". Usually I have been able to get my work back with project recovery, but now when I restarted Live said that it's going through automatic update. Clicked ok and restarted. No project recovery.

There goes my project.

Live 10. In addition to all the minor crap they did with this version, they also managed to screw up the best feature in the software. The project recovery.
