Midi Spread

Post by Tone » Thu Jan 07, 2016 2:34 pm

can't believe I can't find something to do this. If I use the Chord midi effect I want it to play the notes a little off from each other instead of exactly on top. Should be a setting for each "shift" to randomly delay by miliseconds so the chords can sound more natural? Anyone know of such a device??

Sometimes I use arpeggiator to do things like this (milliseconds, no repeat), but then it takes away your note length options (you can set a note length, but it is only as dynamic as control of the effect itself).

How about this one. I want a "sampler" for midi notes. I'll give an example. lets say I click some empty midi cells on session viev. 1st one i make a 3 note chord. 2nd I have just one note and 3rd I have a note and its 5th. Now I want to drag each of those clips onto pads on a drumrack so when I play that pad it has whatever notes I have in it, in a "one shot" mode.
